Modem Support and General
Notes about modems: Any
V.90 Compatible modem should work with our access servers. One modem
in particular that has problems is the newer V.92 V44bis modems from
Lucent ( Lucent Win Modems ). These modems need a firmware update to
be compatible. For whatever reason, Lucent did not make these
completely backwards compatible with V.90 technology! Some of our
customers with newer computers who have purchased these can fix this using
a firmware update from the internet.

Dns servers

secondary: ns2.2interactive.com
ip: 64.170.22.10
Note: Dns servers are
automatically assigned when you log-on. If you are on a DSL line, or
are running linux, then you will need to use the servers above.
Dialup Numbers
Please make sure you have the
correct dialup number. Always call the phone company to verify
the number you are dialing is not long-distance.
